Frequently asked questions
The questions that reach hello@wrenfold.co.uk most often, answered here so you don't have to ask.
Sending a gift
Do you put prices in the box?
No. Nothing priced goes in — no invoice, no receipt, no packing slip with a total on it. A plain box, no prices inside.
Can you send it straight to the person it's for?
Yes. Put their address in at checkout. Every order leaves ready to hand over: tissue, ribbon, and a card in actual handwriting if you ask for one.
Can I add a message?
Leave it in the order notes at checkout and we'll write it out by hand. Keep it to about forty words so it fits the card.
Delivery
How quickly do you send things out?
Orders leave Yorkshire in 1–2 working days, then take 2–5 working days to arrive. It runs a little longer in the fortnight before Christmas.
What does delivery cost?
Free on orders over £30. Under that it is £3.95.
Where do you deliver?
Mainland Great Britain — England, Scotland and Wales. Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man are not available yet.
Will I get tracking?
It is emailed the moment the courier collects the parcel.
The things in the box
How long does a soap flower bouquet last?
Kept dry and out of direct sun, it holds its shape for years — it is scented soap, not a cut stem, so there is nothing to wilt. Flowers that won't wilt by Wednesday.
Will soap flowers melt?
Only if they get wet. Keep the bouquet off a radiator and out of the bathroom and it stays as it arrived.
How long do the candles burn?
It depends on the size, so the burn time is written on each product page rather than guessed at here.
Are wheat bags microwavable?
Yes. Heating instructions come with each one — follow the times on the label rather than a rule of thumb.
What do you say about crystals?
That they are calm little objects for a calm little corner. Nothing here heals, aligns or manifests, and we won't pretend otherwise.
If something goes wrong
How long do I have to return something?
Thirty days from delivery to tell us, and 14 days after that to post it back. The law asks for 14; we give you 30.
Who pays the return postage?
You do if you've changed your mind. We do if the item was faulty, damaged or not what you ordered.
It was a gift and I don't have the order details.
The person who received it can email us directly. We will not send them a price.
How do I start a return?
Email returns@wrenfold.co.uk and we'll reply within one working day with the address. Please wait for that reply before posting anything.
The longer answers live in the journal: how a backflow incense burner works, wax melts or candles, and what to take someone in hospital.
