Get Well Soon Gifts

At the hospital door, grapes suddenly feel far too formal. Wrenfold's £12.95–£39.95 shelf includes a Get Well Soon Box, cotton-and-juco eye pillow, lavender wheat bags and shower steamers.

There is nothing to wrap before the visit if you pick one of the boxed sets, and the parcel itself carries no prices inside. Yorkshire dispatch is 1–2 days, with free mainland UK delivery over £30 or £3.95 otherwise.

Choosing one

Work backwards from where they are. On a ward, only small things that need no water and no plug are any use — shower steamers at £8.95, an eye pillow at £14.95 for a room that never goes dark.

At home, the wheat bags come into their own, and the Get Well Soon box at £24.95 puts a wheat bag, whipped soap and steamers in one parcel. The De-Stress Kit at £31.95 is the longer-recovery version.

Before you send flowers instead, check the ward: several UK trusts do not accept them at all. We looked up who allows what.

If you are putting a care package together rather than sending one thing, three items in one parcel reads better than three parcels arriving on three days. And a thinking of you gift lands harder unannounced than it does on a date somebody was expecting.

Most of what works here also sits in bath and relaxation, since a shower is easier than a bath when you are not well. For the evenings after, Sleep & Unwind has the wheat bags and eye pillows. Before you buy flowers, it is worth reading what to take someone in hospital — plenty of UK wards turn them away.

Questions we get asked

What's a good get well soon present?

A hospital room rarely needs another large bunch of flowers. A boxed set, cotton-and-juco eye pillow or set of 4 Zen Shower Steamers keeps the parcel compact, with prices from £12.95.

What are some good get-well soon gifts?

The room gives more useful clues than a grand message. Wrenfold's range includes lavender wheat bags, eye pillows, shower steamers and boxed sets up to £39.95.

What's the best get well soon gift?

The best choice fits the space waiting by the bed. A set of 6 Kick Start Shower Steamers or a boxed lavender wheat bag arrives without a price inside, and the bath and relaxation gifts page carries the wider bathroom shelf.

What's a good small gift to get a sick person?

A crowded bedside table calls for a neater parcel. The Slumber & Relax Eye Pillow and 4-piece Zen Shower Steamers sit within Wrenfold's £12.95–£39.95 collection.
