Candles & Ritual Candles

All soy wax, and most with stones set into the top. The chakra candles run to seven colours at £13.95 each; the spell candles are taller, at £15.95, with real quartz, jasper or agate in the wax.

The boxed ritual sets at £17.95 arrive in printed gift boxes, which means nothing further needs wrapping. Scents run from straight rosemary to apple and cinnamon.

We sell them as candles with intentions attached, not as anything that does something. Lift the stones out before the flame reaches them and they keep long after the wax has gone. Free UK delivery over £30.

Choosing one

The difference between the ranges is size and stone. The heart chakra candle at £13.95 is the small one, rose quartz and jade in a green glass; the love spell candle at £15.95 is twice the height with more stone in it.

If it needs to look like a present without further wrapping, the boxed ritual sets do that on their own: apple and cinnamon at £17.95 is the easiest to give, and straight rosemary at £17.95 is the one for someone who already owns a shelf of vanilla.

Whichever you pick, the first burn decides how long it lasts — three or four hours, until the wax reaches the edge. The reason is in the journal.

Questions we get asked

What are ritual candles?
Candles made for a moment rather than for light: a colour, a scent and often a stone chosen to match an intention. Ours are soy wax with genuine crystals set into the surface, and we make no claims for what they do.
Can you take the crystals out of a candle?
Yes, and you should. Blow the candle out, wait a minute, then lift the stones from the softened wax before the melt pool reaches them. Most people keep the stone long after the candle is finished.
Why does soy wax look cloudy on top?
It is called frosting and it is soy behaving normally as it cools and recrystallises. It affects how the surface looks and nothing else — not the scent, the burn or the life of the candle.
How do you stop a candle tunnelling?
Give it a long first burn, three to four hours, until the melted wax reaches the edge of the glass. Wax remembers that first pool, so a short first burn leaves a tunnel for the rest of its life.
