Half a kilo of stone, straight out of the ground. Unpolished, broken rather than cut, and sold by weight — you get a bag of pieces of assorted size rather than a set number of stones.

- Good to know: raw stone has sharp edges and a dusty coating. Rinse it under a cold tap and let it dry before it goes anywhere near a shelf
